Overview[]

Tien dodges the Purple Comet Attack

Jeice and Burter both fly together in a manner similar to Purple Spiral Flash, but make a different looking vortex. Instead of firing multiple Ki Blasts, the vortex dashes toward the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage if it hits.

Jeice and Burter used this attack as a trump card in their battle against Tien Shinhan on King Kai's planet. Tien dodged the initial rush and then used his Spirit Burst to break up the duo, knocking them down to Hell in the process.

In Dragon Ball Z Kai, this attack is refered to as the Purple Comet Crush.

Video Games[]

Purple Comet Attack was named in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 where it comes in two variations: the Red Comet Attack, which is Jeice's Ultimate Blast, and the Blue Comet Attack, which is Burter’s Ultimate Blast. It is one of the few team attacks featured in Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors, and also appears in Dragon Ball Z: Sagas, and Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.
