Trunks uses the Finish Buster during the Heat Dome Attack.

Heat Dome Attack (ヒートドームアタック) is Future Trunks' final and most powerful attack in his Super Saiyan form. First, he throws his opponent up in the air and points both his hands up in the air. Then, he charges a large dome of yellow energy around himself. From this energy dome expels a gigantic Finish Buster up at the opponent, inflicting an enormous amount of damage.

Future Trunks used this attack to destroy Future Cell in his imperfect form in his alternate timeline. Thanks to his training from the present timeline, Future Trunks easily outclassed Future Cell and knocked the Android down into the ground. When Future Cell attempted to attack with his tail, Future Trunks caught it and threw Future Cell up into the air. Future Cell then prepared a Kamehameha in hopes of defeating Future Trunks, but Future Trunks countered and destroyed Future Cell with the Heat Dome Attack, declaring that the nightmare is over. With the Androids defeated and peace finally restored in his timeline, Future Trunks thanked Goku and the others for everything they had done for him.

Heat Dome Attack was named in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and is Future Trunks' (without sword) Ultimate Blast in his Super Saiyan form. It also appears in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, the Raging Blast series, and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi. It also made an appearance in the Nintendo DS game Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 under the name Finish Buster . It is also used in Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale.
