Explosive Madan (爆魔弾) is a short-ranged version of the Masenko used by Gohan. First, Gohan raises his hands above his head and charges yellow energy in his palm. Then, he thrusts his hands forward and fires a short, but giant yellow shock wave of energy at the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage.
Gohan first used the Explosive Madan during his battle against Dabura in the Babidi Saga.
Explosive Madan was named in the video game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and is one of Gohan's Blast 2 attacks in his base, Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 forms. This attack appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit but was named "Masenko". It also appears in the Raging Blast series, with its name is changed to Explosive Cannon.
Variation[]
- Super Explosive Madan – The enhanced version of the Explosive Madan. Adult Gohan fires a bigger and more powerful Explosive Madan, inflicting greater damage than the normal Explosive Madan. He uses this attack as one of his Blast 2 attacks in his Super Saiyan 2 form in the video game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
