Accel Dance (アクセルダンス, Akuseru Dansu) is a team attack used by Android 17 and Android 18. It is the attack that they used to kill Future Gohan in the alternate future timeline, as seen in Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks.

Overview[]

Accel Dance 1

Androids 17 and 18 using Accel Dance (the beginning)

This ultimate attack starts with 17 and 18 relentlessly beating their opponent together, and then knocking them into the ground. There are two versions of this attack, one of each used by 17 and 18. If 17 performs the attack and does it correctly, then he says "This is easier than I thought", then he and 18 rise up into the air and fire their Power Falling Star blasts down at their opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage. If 18 performs the attack and does it correctly, she teleports down to her opponent and kicks them in the arm before they hit the ground, inflicting a great amount of damage. Her kick is similar to when she broke Super Saiyan Vegeta's arm during their battle. Alternatively, when 18 does it correctly, it will sometimes feature Krillin performing the attack with her instead of 17.

Accel Dance was named in the Budokai series. It is also 17's Ultimate Blast in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, as well as 18's team attack in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and her ultimate in Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi; in all these appearances, it is called the Sadistic Dance (サディスティックダンス, Sadisutikku Dansu (not to be confused with Sadistic 18).
